Overview
Five days in the Laikipia conservancies, where Kenya's rhino conservation work actually happens. This is a slower, more deliberate trip than a standard circuit: you will spend time with the people doing the work, join a tracking team on foot, and see both black and white rhino in country managed specifically for them.

North out of Nairobi and down into the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru, a fenced sanctuary that has protected rhino since the 1980s. Afternoon drive along the lakeshore.

A deposit confirms your booking, with the balance due before departure. We accept bank transfer and card.
Deposits are generally refundable up to a defined point before travel, after which charges apply. Gorilla permits are the exception — the parks themselves do not refund them once issued.

A full day given over to the conservation work itself: time with the monitoring team, the endangered species enclosure, and the chimpanzee sanctuary that takes rescued animals from across Africa.

Out on foot at first light with an armed ranger, reading tracks and dung and working towards rhino on the ground rather than from a vehicle. Afternoon at leisure or a further drive.
