Overview
A gorilla trek is a walk into steep, wet, thickly vegetated forest that can take anywhere from one to seven hours, ending in a strictly limited hour with the family. It is the single most affecting wildlife encounter in East Africa and it asks something of you physically. Permits are limited and must be secured months ahead.
